AkijBashir Group expanded in Bangladesh’s power and energy sector by signing a property acquisition agreement with Eminence Electric Wire & Cables Limited.
The signing took place at the Hotel Sheraton, Dhaka.
Under the agreement, AkijBashir Group’s subsidiary, AkijBashir Energy Limited, will launch a modern facility to produce all types of wires and cables. The plant will utilize advanced technology and international processes to ensure that safe, durable, high-quality products are available on the market within the year.

The group said this initiative will enhance industrial development and promote power safety in Bangladesh.

Mashiul Haque, Managing Director, Eminence Electric Wire & Cables Ltd.; Adil Chowdhury, Managing Director, National Bank; Syed Rois Uddin, DMD, National Bank; Humaira Azam, Managing Director, LankaBangla Finance; Hasan Tanvir, DMD, Rupali Bank; Maksuda Khanam, DMD, EXIM Bank; and other senior officials.
