Xiamen HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd has officially entered the Bangladeshi market by opening a new office in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka. The move marks a significant step in strengthening the country’s clean energy ecosystem and reducing reliance on diesel generators.
Founded in China, HiTHIUM is a global leader in grid-scale energy storage solutions, with more than 70 GWh of production capacity and advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology. Through its Bangladesh office, the company will distribute and develop flagship products, including large-scale battery energy storage systems for industrial, commercial, and utility sectors, as well as the HeroEE series of portable lithium-ion IPS systems tailored for homes, offices, and small businesses.

According to Nazmul Islam, Managing Director of HiTHIUM Bangladesh, the systems are designed to be eco-friendly, noise-free, and cost-effective. They can reduce oil consumption by up to 70% in industrial applications, offering a reliable alternative to traditional diesel generators. The solutions also support smart solar integration, lower emissions, and provide efficient power backup for sustainable infrastructure.
HiTHIUM’s technology is already deployed in regions such as Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific, where it plays a role in reducing emissions and modernizing power systems. The company aims to bring similar benefits to Bangladesh, which is actively pursuing an energy transition agenda.

The Dhaka launch event was attended by HiTHIUM Bangladesh Director Ashraful Islam, alongside senior representatives from HiTHIUM Global, including General Manager Ratel You, Production Manager Lin Ri, and Senior Sales Manager Raity Wang. Industry observers noted that HiTHIUM’s entry into Bangladesh signals a boost for the country’s renewable energy ambitions and could help accelerate adoption of sustainable power solutions in both urban and industrial sectors.
