Trust Bank PLC and bKash Limited have entered into a new partnership to expand digital financial services and make transactions more convenient for customers across Bangladesh. As part of this collaboration, customers can now open weekly and monthly Deposit Pension Schemes (DPS) with Trust Bank directly through the bKash app, making savings more accessible through mobile technology.

The agreement was signed in Dhaka in the presence of Trust Bank CEO Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury and bKash CEO Kamal Quadir. Chowdhury noted that the two institutions have already been working together and will now focus on delivering services that are more customer-centric and comprehensive. Quadir expressed that the partnership would bring financial services to a wider base of people and strengthen Bangladesh’s growing digital financial ecosystem.
Through this initiative, customers will benefit from enhanced services including seamless bank-to-bKash and bKash-to-bank fund transfers, direct payments from Trust Bank accounts at over one million merchant points nationwide, and round-the-clock automated cash management for more than 350,000 bKash agents and distributors. Most importantly, over 80 million bKash users will now be able to open Trust Bank DPS accounts directly through the app.

Trust Bank and bKash already provide joint services such as Trust Cum Settlement Accounts, Add Money, Transfer Money, and Remittance Settlement. With the introduction of these new services, the partnership is set to simplify financial transactions further, strengthen digital payments, and move Bangladesh closer to building a truly cashless economy.
