Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh’s leading industrial conglomerates, has reached its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a modest event was held on Sunday, January 5, at MGI’s headquarters in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Speaking as the chief guest, MGI Chairman and Managing Director Mostafa Kamal stated, “Every step we take at MGI aims to contribute to the country’s economy and create employment opportunities. As a symbol of trust and quality, we continuously strive to enhance people’s quality of life by standing beside them.”
The event was attended by MGI’s Vice Chairman, members of the Board of Directors, and senior officials of the organization.
The program at the headquarters was broadcast via video conference to MGI’s various factories and offices. As part of the celebration, all MGI employees wore special t-shirts commemorating the 50-year milestone at their respective workplaces. Decorations, arches, and photo booths were set up across MGI’s offices, factories, and depots nationwide.
Special communication campaigns marking the 50th anniversary were displayed on billboards in key locations across Dhaka and throughout the country. Additionally, special campaigns were launched on social media platforms to engage audiences and commemorate the milestone.
