HSBC has announced the winners of the HSBC Export Excellence Awards 2025, honouring four Bangladeshi companies for their outstanding contribution to the country export growth and global reputation. These businesses were selected as Exporter of the Year for demonstrating leadership, sustainable business practices, compliance, governance strength, and consistent impact on national exports.

The awards were organised in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and the British High Commission Dhaka, while KPMG Advisory Services Limited served as the technical and auditing partner.
This year’s award winners represent key export categories. Flamingo Fashions Limited received the award in the RMG category with export earnings above one hundred million United States dollars. NZ Tex Group was honoured in the RMG backward linkage category with exports above fifty million United States dollars. In the non traditional and emerging sectors manufacturing category, Janata Jute Mills Limited and Sadat Jute Industries Limited were jointly recognised for export earnings above ten million United States dollars. Ulkasemi PVT Limited received the award in the non traditional and emerging sectors service category for exports above five million United States dollars.
The event brought together leaders and stakeholders from across the industry. Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Adviser at the Ministry of Commerce, attended as chief guest. Sarah Cooke, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, participated as special guest. Dr Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, joined as guest of honour. Md Mahbub ur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh, award winners, customers, regulators, media, and partners were also present.
The ceremony featured a special session titled Sustaining High Performance delivered by Jake Lovelock, Performance and Wellbeing Psychologist at Cognacity. Speaking at the event, Md Mahbub ur Rahman said that the awards celebrate the ambition and determination of Bangladeshi exporters. He noted that while the current achievements are significant, Bangladesh must continue working on strategic evolution, greater market diversification, and the effective use of future trade agreements. He also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce and the British High Commission for supporting this flagship initiative by HSBC.
