Xiamen HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd has officially entered the Bangladeshi market by opening a new office in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka. The move marks a significant step in strengthening the country’s clean energy ecosystem and reducing reliance on diesel generators.

Founded in China, HiTHIUM is a global leader in grid-scale energy storage solutions, with more than 70 GWh of production capacity and advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology. Through its Bangladesh office, the company will distribute and develop flagship products, including large-scale battery energy storage systems for industrial, commercial, and utility sectors, as well as the HeroEE series of portable lithium-ion IPS systems tailored for homes, offices, and small businesses.

They can reduce oil consumption by up to 70% in industrial applications, offering a reliable alternative to traditional diesel generators. The solutions also support smart solar integration, lower emissions, and provide efficient power backup for sustainable infrastructure.

HiTHIUM’s technology is already deployed in regions such as Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific, where it plays a role in reducing emissions and modernizing power systems. The company aims to bring similar benefits to Bangladesh, which is actively pursuing an energy transition agenda.
