Foodpanda Bangladesh has expanded its healthcare support for delivery partners through a free health camp organized under its flagship Panda Hearts Programme at the Khilgaon hub. The initiative was launched in collaboration with Amar Doctor, a concern of MedAI, an AI-powered digital healthcare platform.

At the camp, delivery partners received a range of primary health screenings, including diabetes tests, blood pressure and pulse checks, body temperature and oxygen saturation measurements, BMI assessments, peak flow tests for lung function, and urine tests. Following these screenings, doctors provided immediate consultations and prescriptions, ensuring that riders had direct access to medical guidance.

In addition to checkups, MedAI engaged riders in a quiz session on health awareness, with top scorers receiving exclusive gift items. This added an interactive element, promoting both health knowledge and motivation among participants.

Foodpanda’s Head of Logistics, Mukitur Khan, highlighted that although delivery partners operate as freelancers, the company views their well-being as a responsibility. He expressed gratitude to MedAI for enabling Foodpanda to provide such support.

As part of the collaboration, MedAI has also introduced four subsidized healthcare packages tailored exclusively for Foodpanda delivery partners. These packages, priced between Tk 35 and Tk 279 for durations ranging from one month to one year, include services such as 24/7 doctor hotlines, video consultations, treatment follow-ups, and AI-powered health insights. Subscribers also receive two free telemedicine consultations via the Amar Doctor app, valid for one month.

Earlier, Foodpanda organized a similar health camp for riders in Gulshan, marking a continuation of its commitment to ensuring access to affordable healthcare for those who play a crucial role in keeping the platform moving.
