Md. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd., has been elected as the President of the Bangladesh Paint Manufacturers Association (BPMA) for the 2025–2026 term. The announcement was made during the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the BPMA, which was attended by all members along with the newly elected executive committee.
The executive committee for the new term includes Md. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, COO of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd., as President, Dr. Nuruzzaman, Chairman of Imperial Paints, as Senior Vice President, and Mr. Arun Mitra, Head of Plant Operations at Nippon Paints, as General Secretary.

Along with this, a four-member advisory committee has been formed to guide and support the newly elected executive committee. The advisory panel comprises Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director of Berger Paints; Salim Ahmed, Vice Chairman of Elite Paints; B.B. Saha Roy, Managing Director and CEO of The British Paints Limited; and Shafique Ullah Khan, Managing Director of Pailac Chemical.

During the AGM, the BPMA expressed its sincere gratitude to the outgoing committee for their exceptional contributions and visionary leadership, which have set a benchmark for the industry.
