The Texworld/Apparel Sourcing Paris 2024 event saw the participation of a total of 13 exhibitors from Bangladesh. The event, held at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, concluded on February 7th. According to a press release, the exhibition featured more than 1,280 exhibitors from 28 countries, attracting buyers from various parts of the world.
During the three-day event, attendees eagerly returned to the exhibition floor for networking and sourcing opportunities. Bangladeshi exhibitors showcased a diverse range of fashion products, alongside major manufacturing countries such as Pakistan, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey, and Taiwan.
The Denim Village, located in the central part of Hall 7.3, brought together international companies from Bangladesh, China, India, and Pakistan, offering both raw materials and finished denim products. Bangladeshi exhibitors were notably busy and pleased with the response from buyers at the fair.
Among the 13 Bangladeshi firms represented at the exhibition, Asia Links Design and Sara Fashionwear showcased clothing fashion, while Aaron Denim, Argon Denim, NZ Denim, and Pioneer Denim displayed denim products.
Ahasan Habib Rabi, deputy manager of Research & Development at Amanat Shah Fabric, expressed satisfaction with the fair’s organization and turnout. Participating for the first time, they managed to attract buyers from various European countries, anticipating fruitful business opportunities.
Hadayet Ullah Mahmud, head of design and product development at Tad Group, highlighted their company’s position as one of the largest apparel sourcing and manufacturing companies in Bangladesh. He expressed delight with the crowd at the event, noting the busy schedule with customer inquiries from around the world. Mahmud expressed optimism about the benefits the fair would bring to Bangladeshi garment companies participating in the exhibition.
